About Think Energy

Think Energy is Codema’s public-facing energy awareness campaign, which aims to boost the uptake of eﬀective energy saving measures. The campaign centres around improving energy literacy, sharing skills and inspiring action among energy users across Ireland.

We share easy and accessible ways anyone can use to take charge of their energy use, wherever they live or work. We do this so that more people can enjoy more affordable, healthy and sustainable surroundings in their day-to-day lives.

Home Energy Saving Kit

Our award-winning Home Energy Saving Kit is the only toolkit of its kind in Ireland. For more than 10 years, it has helped thousands of households reduce energy consumption, lower bills and cut carbon emissions through a practical, informative and engaging approach.

The kit includes five easy-to-use tools that enable users to assess how energy is being used throughout their home, identify areas where heat may be escaping and discover simple actions that can deliver immediate savings.

An additional water flow rate test is also included, providing a comprehensive overview of household energy and water use. Together, the tools address all major areas of energy consumption in the home, including space heating, hot water, appliances, lighting and cooking.

The Home Energy Saving Kit is designed for everyone, including homeowners, renters, tenants, and people living in shared accommodation who want to better understand and reduce their energy use. No technical knowledge or experience is required.

The great thing about the kit is its adaptability; even though it’s an energy saving kit for the home, the tools can easily be used in a workplace or community setting!

Home Energy Saving Kit Expression of Interest form. (Please note that our Home Energy Saving Kits are very popular and once sold out, we then operate a waiting list for organisations that wish to place an order. When the minimum order quantity is met, we then pool these into one bulk order to maximise efficiencies.)
