Our 4-day week is shortlisted in the annual Chambers Ireland Sustainable Business Impact Awards!

Recognition for our successful 4-day week

Codema’s successful 4-day week has been recognised once again. We have been shortlisted in the annual Chambers Ireland Sustainable Business Impact Awards in the Health & Wellbeing category.

This category awards workplaces that thrive in combining well-being, inclusivity and commitment to corporate social responsibility across Ireland.

With our approach to work-life balance, Codema has been following crucial UN Sustainable Development Goals, such as:

  • SDG 3 (Good Health & Wellbeing): by improving mental health, sleep and work-life balance.
  • SDG 5 (Gender Equality): through inclusive flexibility, paid leave for all parents (regardless of gender) and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion informed practices.
  • SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): by embedding sustainable work models that protect health while maintaining output.
  • SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities): with flexible, international work options and support for diverse personal circumstances.

While the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 24th September 2025, this shortlist is further proof that we are on the right path.

After all, earlier this year we won the Best Place to Work award at the Workplace Excellence Awards 2025!

Since the implementation of our four-day week in 2022, we proved that wellbeing and high performance go hand in hand – and that small, not-for-profit organisations can lead by example.
