Free eco-spark workshop to take place in Ringsend/Irishtown

The Ringsend Irishtown Sustainable Energy Community (RISEC) will hold its next free community workshop on Thursday, 21st May, from 1.30pm to 3.00pm in the CY Building on the Irishtown Road.

The eco-spark workshop is open to all and will include an update from RISEC, a demonstration from Codema on how to use the tools in the free Home Energy Saving Kit, and information on where to borrow a kit locally.

Attendees will also be invited to take part in a community visioning exercise on sustainable energy in the area. Codema will give a presentation on the potential for urban energy communities in Dublin and SEAI Sustainable Energy Community mentor Ger Doherty will share the latest news on home retrofit grants, followed by a Q&A session.

Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be provided.

The event is free, but attendees are asked to register in advance to help organisers plan catering.

All are welcome to attend, learn about low-cost energy solutions and meet the local Sustainable Energy Community.
