Climate Change Researcher

We have an exciting opportunity for a Climate Change Researcher to work with our small dedicated team to assist with the drafting of Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Action Plans for the Dublin Local Authorities. This will be achieved by engaging with local authority staff to collect and quantify present and future climate change mitigation and adaptation actions under 7 focus areas.

Further information can be found in A Strategy Towards Climate Change Action Plans for the Dublin Local Authorities available at www.codema.ie/publications. The role will involve gathering and interpreting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data, formulating and quantifying a range of indicators, risk and cost analysis for the actions. The role will also require extensive policy research.

Duration: 12 months fixed-term contract
Indicative salary: €30,000 to €35,000 per annum, gross salary
