Great news - you can now sign up for a great range of Codema events as part of this year's Dublin Climate Action Week, which will run from 12th - 17th September.

Codema is one of the organising partners of Dublin Climate Action Week, alongside South Dublin County Council, Dublin City Council, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Fingal County Council and the Dublin Climate Action Regional Office (CARO). These partners have all come together to offer a wide range of in-person and online events during the week, covering the themes of Energy and Buildings, Transport, Flood Resilience, Nature Based Solutions, Resource Management and Citizen Engagement.

Our events taking place during Dublin Climate Action Week that are now open for registration include:

• Tuesday, 13th September, 11am and 1pm: Tour of the Tallaght District Heating Scheme (BOTH TOURS NOW SOLD OUT)
• Wednesday, 14th September from 10am: Get Energy-Saving Savvy This Winter (Participating in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council's Pop-Up Shop on 213B George's Street in Dún Laoghaire (beside the entrance to the shopping centre). No need to pre-register, simply pop in on the day
• Thursday, 15th September, 11am: Women in Energy Panel Discussion
• Thursday, 15th September, 6:30pm: Inspiring Businesses in Dublin’s Energy Transition 
• Saturday, 17th September, 10am: Sustainable Energy Communities Regional Event (private workshop for existing SECs in the Dublin and Mid-East Region)
• Throughout the week: Postcards from Dublin 2050 (Share your vision of our capital free from fossil fuels)

Some of the Sustainable Energy Communities in the Dublin Mid-East Region are also running their own local events in support of Dublin Climate Action Week. These include:

• Thursday, 15th September, 7:30pm: Draught Proofing and Insulation Workshop, organised by Balbriggan Sustainable Energy Community. Please register you interest in the event by emailing balbrigganclimateclub@gmail.com
