It’s time to Think Energy

09th July, 2013

Codema launched its brand new Think Energy campaign as part of EU Sustainable Energy Week which takes place this week.

Think Energy aims to inspire Dublin City Council staff to become more energy efficient by understanding more about the building that they work in and learning how their own behaviour can play a significant role in reducing the overall energy demand of the building.

To kick-start the campaign, Codema set up a stand in the staff canteen in Civic Offices on Wednesday, 26th June from 9.30am – 2.30pm where they invited you to participate in a quick survey about saving energy in the office and at home as well. The survey responses will help Codema to develop the most effective energy awareness campaign for you so make sure your voice is heard!

As part of the Think Energy campaign, Codema will also provide regular energy-saving tips that you can apply in the workplace or at home too.

This month’s energy-saving tip is:

During the summer months when the evenings are bright, make the most of natural daylight by switching off lights that don’t need to be on.
