Great competition to launch the Think Energy Online Hub!

12th September, 2013

Calling all Dublin City Council staff – if you fancy getting away from it all with your family or friends, then you don’t want to miss our great competition giveaway next week.  To mark the going live of the Think Energy online hub, Codema is offering one lucky staff member the chance to win a self-catering break at the award-winning Crann Óg eco farm in Co Galway.

You could be spending a relaxing two night break in Crann Óg’s Longhouse eco-cabin which sleeps up to 8 people and comes equipped with solar showers and woodburning stove.  This is your chance to experience sustainable living in a friendly alternative farm setting and you can take advantage of the many activities on offer such as yoga, cycling, wildlife tracking or sampling the organic vegetables that are grown on site.

To be in with a chance of winning, make sure you check out the Think Energy online hub which will go live from Wednesday, 18th September.  You can also enter by visiting the Think Energy stand in the Civic Offices staff restaurant on the same day from 9.30am – 2.30pm, where Codema staff will be on hand to help you experience the online hub and all it has to offer: useful energy tips, live energy data, games and quizzes.

If you want to contribute your own unique tip for saving energy at home or at work or if you have carried out any actions to save energy within Dublin City Council, let us know by emailing thinkenergy@dublincity.ie and we will feature it on the Think Energy hub.

Many thanks to Crann Óg for generously donating the competition prize.  For more information about Crann Óg’s environmental policy, click here.
