Codema attended the launch of the Irish Planning Institute’s spatial planning and energy training programme in the Morrison Hotel on Thursday, 12th February.

The initiative is part of the SPECIAL (Spatial Planning & Energy for Communities in All Landscapes) project which seeks to share best practice in energy planning.

By working with European and domestic leaders in the field of planning and energy, the Institute has developed an extensive training programme to help remove the gap between sustainable energy planning and spatial planning while also developing a closer link between European and national policy on spatial planning for sustainable energy provision.

Codema will work on the SPECIAL project on behalf of South Dublin County Council and will deliver several modules of the training programme later this year.
