‘Advancing Sustainable Transport in Urban Areas To Promote Energy Efficiency’

The main aim of the ASTUTE project was to identify, understand and overcome the barriers that prevent an increase in environmentally friendly and energy efficient modes of transport such as walking and cycling the urban environment.  The project ran for 36 months (Feb 06 to Jan 09).

CODEMA was in partnership with 8 partners from 5 European cities

  • Austria, Graz (Stadt Graz & FGM-AMOR)
  • Hungary, Budapest (Studio Metropolitana)
  • Italy, Catania (University of Catania & MedORO)
  • Spain, Granada (Ayuntamiento de Granada)
  • UK, London (London Borough of Bromley & CEN)

CODEMA is working in collaboration with VIPRE Ltd, a Mobility Management Company based in Dublin, on developing work based travel plans for 5 companies in Dublin.
